Scholarship Application
Criteria & Requirements
The founders of this non-profit foundation were three sisters who understood that serving others was their calling. They realized that their efforts can make a BIG difference in the lives of scholars. The Sisters of Faith Scholarship is awarded annually to up to ten deserving scholars. We are supported by the kindness of individuals who contribute on an ongoing basis or as a one-time gift.
High School seniors who meet the requirements are encouraged to apply.
Application Requirements
Carefully read each bullet point because they are needed on your appliction

High School Senior with B average or better

A 500-word essay

Tell us all about yourself by sharing your life's goals, with reasons why you chose your career path

Tell us how your family and how peers would describe you and why

Share a challenging experience that you faced and overcame

Explain how the SOF scholarship will impact your educational goals

upload your acceptance letter from post-high school learning institution (college, tech school, etc)

2 additional letters of recommendation: one from a guidance counselor, a teacher, a club advisor, a coach, or a religious leader (all recommendations must be on official letterhead)

Zelle your $25.00 non-refundable application fee. Payable to Deborah Richardson, @ 862-867-7343, at the time the application is submitted

The promise of future commitment to become a "pay it forward" donor for at least 1 year (this means if you are awarded a scholarship, you must also contribute once you are established in your career)

Your "Thank you" letter emailed to foundation. Your letter may be shared on social media and/or website

Upload a recent photo on the application to be shared on social media

Email an update to the foundation during the first year of school to let us know how you are doing*****
