Scholarship Application

Criteria & Requirements

The founders of this non-profit foundation were three sisters who understood that serving others was their calling. They realized that their efforts can make a BIG difference in the lives of scholars. The Sisters of Faith Scholarship is awarded annually to up to ten deserving scholars. We are supported by the kindness of individuals who contribute on an ongoing basis or as a one-time gift. 

High School seniors who meet the requirements are encouraged to apply.

Requirements for Applying
Part 1: Between Dec. 1-Dec. 15, 2025, email a letter of interest along with your first marking period report card and a letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor
* If your letter is accepted, you will receive a link giving you permission to the application

Part 2​ Read each bullet point, then click on the application link

  • High School Senior with B average or better

  • upload Official school transcript

  • upload ACT/SAT scores if taken

  • upload community service documentation of at least 4hr.

  • 500-word essay

  • Tell us all about who you are,  share your life's goals , and why you chose this path

  • Tell us how your family and peers would describe you and why

  •  Share a challenging experience that you faced and overcame

  •  Tell us how the SOF scholarship will impact your educational goals

  • upload your acceptance letter from post-high school learning institution (college, tech school, etc)

  • 2 additional letters of recommendation: one from a guidance counselor, a teacher, a club advisor, a coach, or a religious leader (all recommendations must be on official letterhead)

  •  Zelle your $25.00 non-refundable application fee. Payable to Deborah Richardson, @ 862-867-7343,  at the time the application is submitted

  • The promise of future commitment to become a "pay it forward" donor for at least 1 year (this means if you are awarded a scholarship, you must also contribute once you are established in your career)

  • Awardee "Thank you" letter to be shared on social media  

  • Upload a recent photo on the application to be shared on social media

  • Submit an update to the foundation during the first year of school to let us know how you are doing
